Is Mubarak delaying departure so that he and his cronies can get their money out of Egypt?

I am thinking that Mubarak is probably not the one calling the shots. He has presided over a mammoth kleptocracy that has fleeced and the Egyptian people for decades. They are monstrously greedy and though they probably have lots stashed abroad they want to get as much out as they can. This is just my thinking. I am wondering whether there is any evidence for this?
