Fog Light in place of headlight?

I hit a deer last night and the whole left light assembly is destroyed and the hood is pretty dented.. Other than that the car is fine.. But for the few day until i can get the parts and repair it I was wondering if I would replace the burnt out fog lights and use that as a kind of replacement... Would I get pulled over for that? The right headlight would still be one because they are automatic but would the fog light on the left get me by?
